Back to the AT&T, the whitepaper details:
AT&T also installs the MEC solution at the customer’s
business location and provides 24/7 managed services
and support.
AT&T’s solution is to simply put hardware on the premise, and call it Mobile Edge Computing.
This really tells the truth as to what Telcos think the edge is, and what they think edge computing is.
